Chase Street Elementary Preschool Grading Sheet
What We Know
Currently the teachers are creating their own grading rubrics. This means they have to create brand new stuff to show their superiors the progress being made in their class or at least have to calculate everything on their own.
Research
- There seem to be many resources available on how to create formulas for Microsoft Excel.
- There is an add-on for Google Sheets called GradeBook that lets you generate grades and email them to the ‘students’
- Found a couple of free Gradebooks such as
learnboost andthinkwave .
Though the way the teacher wants to grade might be a little more complicated for these free applications. They will have to be further tested to see if we can build on them or have to build from the ground up. At worst we should only have to build equations or a spreadsheet to show the information the teacher wants to see.
